Problems with my bonaire evap

Sounds wired wrong, possibly wrong wires on capacitor.(if there is one of course) need to have wuring schematics and make sure its wired right. Hopefully its the right motor!!

Can you blow hot air through it?

the defrost drain is stopped up...the simplest way to start is to remove food, unplug frig and open both doors for 24 hrs. a fan blowing into ref will help this process. after 24 hrs remove the shelving so you can get to the back panel... there will be 3 screws 1 on the bottom left and 1 on the bottom right corners, the 3rd is located about 2/3 of the way up the panel in the center. this screw has a square plug covering it.. after screw removal "pop" the cover being careful of the wiring at the top, after unplugging the 2 plugs set panel to the side out of the way.... now you are looking at the evaporator, just under the evap you should see a hole, this is the defrost drain.. if there is any ice in the trough remove it, with hot water if need be. once the drain is open pour 2-3 glasses of hot water down the drain to flush out.. if water wont pour through drain, I use air pressure to clear drain, if u don't have an air tank you can use a hose that you blow through to clear drain.......I hope this helps.......Ken

No it cant really be fitted as the evap system uses much larger duct and also in some cases people use a different type of duct that when running a gas heater threw it it tends to melt with the heat. Your best option would be to get new ducting that way you can size it correctly so you dont have air alance issues down the track.

What is the model of the unit?
If you can not find that then is it evap or a/c?

you have a blocked drain in the freezer.when the machine gets cold ice forms on the evap. coil that's located in the freezer and behind the inside freezer wall.when the machine goes into defrost the heater comes on and melts the ice off of the coil and it drains through the hole under the evap coil and then runs down to where the compressor is and then evaporates from the heat of the compressor and condenser coil,your drain is blocked so the water is now draining onto the floor.use a hair dryer to melt out the bottom draw if it's frozen in,remove it and look at the back wall,if you can't see the drain hole you'll have to remove the back inside wall of the freezer,to get at it,also unplug the machine or shut it down,you don't want to be blowing warm air into the machine or you'll have another problem the air ducts will freeze up.keep heating the drain hole with the hair dryer and any other ice you see,i use a steemer to clear the drain line but if you don't have a steemer you have to get something to push air through the drain like a turkey baster or similar,also 1/4 inch plastic hose like the kind you use on a fish tank works good,you can snake it through the drain line,when you think the drain is clear pour hot water into the hole if it drains through you're done if not keep hitting it with heat and use the turkey baster to try and push whatever is in there out to clear it,then pour hot water until it drains.it usually will take around 30 to 40 minutes to do this but with a steemer i get it done in around 10 to 15 minutes,good luck

if it's worse with the ice maker on i'd have to say the ice maker is leaking but normally the water is from a blocked drain in the freezer.unplug it,remove everything out of the freezer,pull off the inside back wall of the freezer,melt out all the ice with a hair dryer,next you'll see a hole under the evap coil,that's the drain,you have to free it up,i use a steemer to blow down through the drain but if you don't have a steemer keep heating up the area where the drain hole is,you can try using a turkey baster to blow through the drain,when you think the drain is clear pour hot water into the drain hole,if it goes down you're done,if it doesn't keep heating it until the water drains down the hole.also open the fridge door,in the top of the fridge in the middle of the ceiling and where it touches the back wall you'll see a mold,that's also the drain,heat that area up with the hair dryer to melt out the ice in the drain.the problem is slime builds up in the drain,when the fridge goes into defrost the heater comes on and melts the ice off of the evap coil and the water goes down the drain and into the drip pan on the bottom of the fridge,your drain is blocked and the water is leaking into the fridge,the drain has to be cleared.good luck with your machine.if i can help you with anything else let me know.

this happens from a blocked drain in the freezer.when the machine goes into defrost a heater comes on in the freezer and melts the ice off of the evap coil.normally the water drains down through a hole under the evap. coil but yours is blocked with muck,ice and matbe some food particals but over the years slime forms in the drain.if you know how to put the machine into defrost do it or just unplug it,remove everything out of the freezer,remove the inner back wall of the freezer and with a hair dryer melt out all the ice,all the ice has to be melted off of the coil or anywhere you see it,now you have to clear the drain,i use a steamer to blast through the stuff in there to clean it but if you don't have a steamer you need something that will blow into the hole like a turkey baster or a shop vac,try vacing the stuff out and then put it on blow and try to blow the line out,if you try to snake something down there watch out the drain is plastic,also you can open the fridge door and in the middle of the seiling you can heat it up with the hair dryer to melt the ice in the drain and then blow through the line,when you think it's clear pour hot water into the hole,if it drains through then it's clear if not keep at it until you clear it.

Hi, I have been through this many times. Locate the drain lines on the units. Check the filters and if they are foam, wash them in your sink. You will need to clean the drain hoses out as the have something in them, dirt build up most likely. If they have a drain trough for the condensation to drain to the hose, clean this also. If you have no compressed air tank to blow them out, you can try and lay something down to keep things dry, and try and poor hot water down the drains to open them up. Your best bet would be to spend $14.00 dollars and buy an air tank that comes with a hose and nozzle. Fill it with air and blow them out. This will solve this condensation problem. This unit needs to be serviced. Try replacing the pads with the sponge like pads.Drain the old water and clean up the pan and pump area. Go down to a pool supply store and buy some chlorine tablets and add to the water. In fact, they make these tablets just for the evaporator units. There are 3 states to water, solid, liquid and gas,
. This will get rid of the smell.
