Sorry to hear that iraya01, appears that other people is having the same issue, so it may be facebook website is the problem. Perhaps they are upgrading servers to
fix some issues.
Another possible cause may be some security added to their login. You
may need to be sure cookies are enabled in your computer. Try using a
different web browser.
If you are able to login into your account from another computer, it's
a good idea to check you computer for viruses and other badware. If
you don't have a antivirus, run MRT (microsoft removal tool) or
windows defender (can be downloaded from microsoft website).

That is simialr to my problem and I was told by the Geek Squad that I was hacked and need facebook to help reopen my account as it is affecting even my yahoo account
Whenthey say enter 3 friends dont skip that step, and if it still has problems then try using your number to change the password, this can happen only if you have provided you phone number
