check the fluid in your hubs

115 ohms is less than 5% of 120 ohms. That part of your check is OK.
If it cranks on starter fluid, your problem is fuel related. Stopped up fuel filter. Dirty carb.
Hesitation and lack of full throttle are symptoms of lack of fuel to engine.

carb flooding over, gas build up, try turning off gas supply then crank it over. try shut gas off when ur not riding

This is not enough info to start. ..Hold the palm of your hand over the back of the carb and make sure its sealed against it... You need a helper to do this properly. The engine should pull on your hand inwards... if not....??
Did a shop or factory trained mechanic do the work? Are the reed valves able to open and stay closed? What does the compression gauge read? If you don't have one, beg borrow, buy, and/or take it to a shop and pay them to check it. Check it with the throttle wide open... with new piston and rings it should pump over 120+psi. ..easily.
Have the compression checked and then repost with the results.

everything could be wrong, wrong size piston, rings, but most likely you have a timing issue. since it ran at first and I don't know how well or long it could have jumped time or broken the tensioner for the chain. but if it was slightly off you probably bent a valve an it is staying open slightly preventing compression. pull out your plug and put your finger over the plug hole to check the compression. if no compression then you bent the valve.

Chances are you broke something and hopefully not in the motor. I would use an atv lift and raise the wheels off the ground with the bike in neutral and try to rotate each tire in both directions to get my first clues. If 4X2, then the front tires should be free to rotate and your focus is only on the rear wheels. Both wheels should be locked together and neither rotate differently. If 4X4, then all 4 wheels may be engaged and locked, depending on the nature of the quad if on-demand or not. Next, you may need to disconnect the drive shafts from the transfer case to determine if front and rear cases are each freely rotating. I once busted a drive shaft on my 4X4 polaris and removed it in the field using a phillips head screwdriver to knock out the roller pin so I could pull the splined end out. This freed up the other side to power me out of the woods.
Point is, disconnecting one drive isolates the other side in case it help pin point the issue as outside the motor. Let me know how you do.

I have a 2001 polaris scrambler 500 4x4 and it wouldn't charge the battery and my lights wouldn't work and the fan wouldn't come on so it overheated and it was the voltage regulator that was broke and that makes the fan and lights work it might not be a stator hopes this helps

I think it might be the contact discs in the front hubs, they wear rather easy and cause you to loose 4x4
