you need to check first the power supply board whether the output supply 12-24vdc for the inverter board is stable and not flactuating..you can measure the output voltage with a multitester..you get a voltage output of 12-24 with the inverter board is connected or loaded to the system.be carefull of the high voltage at the inverter board..once the output is stable replace the inverter board or you can measure the output of the inverter be very carefull..the output range upto 500vac.be carefull..if the high voltage is stable replace the lamps...tnx and good luck..

Logic Control D Board got nothing to do with this problem. This is your main power supply gone bad(usually not the sub power supply). I just repaired my VIZIO by replacing main power supply. Just remove back cover and your board will be right in the middle of the screen. Just get board part/serial # and google it. My best price was through eBay(around $100). Everything is fine now.

SOURCE: number one fuse on my main board is deadl vizio gv47l hd tv 10 amp

If fuse is dead, there must be some reason for that. Some short circuit or so. Without rectifying the fault, if you replace it with an other fuse, the fuse you insert will also blow out, and might make more faults to occur. The rating of fuse will be marked on the printed circuit board itself, very near to the fuse.

SOURCE: Vizio m550nv backlight won't work

This TV comes with a remote that connects to the TV via Bluetooth. It remembers which equipment is connected to the various inputs, and automatically changes the controls to match the input equipment - really nice! I found that it will control all my equipment, and since it works via bluetooth, you don't have to have direct line-of-sight to the TV. Wish that the bluetooth part worked for my satellite equipement too! Programmable remotes will operate this TV, but depending on how old they are, they may not be able to hit all the features of the tv - our older directv remotes will operate the basic features, but only the newer models will change the input source - so you may want to use the remote that came with the TV. We have smaller kids, and wanted to limit their use of the tv remote, because it has a slide-out keyboard similar to those on some cell phones to make posting to facebook (one of the apps that comes on the tv) easy. Since our youngest is 5, we thought it might be best to keep that remote out of harm's way.

I have a Vizio e601i-a3 TV which powers on and shows vizio symbol fine then The screen starts flickering and power to the tv goes off after about 1-3 mins. Any suggestions on how. I can fix the Tv?

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

My vizio remote works but the tv doesn't respond. I replaced the remote anyway but it still doe not work. resetting tv doen't work what is next?

It is possible the remotes are either bad or not compatible to the tv. Recheck the remote type and the batteries to see it that helps.

Tv completeley went out , first the picture then sound. took it to a tv repair shop and the power board checks out ok can not find the problem so he is not chargeing me wants me to pick it up

Hi,
On the Vizio LCD TVs there are only two boards: Main board and power board.
There is also the screen. If they checked the power board then all that is left is the main board or screen. If the power light stills changes color when ther power button is pressed you may have a bad screen (costs more than the TV if even available)
If no lights come on the main board can be tried to see if it fixes it, the main board will cost $200-$400.
These screens go bad so I'll bet the shop did not want to try the main board as they can not return it after buying it
Buy a new set is my advice
Hope this helps
thanks

Vizio L32 TV won't turn on. yellow power light lit, should turn to green when button or remote is pressed, and set should come on. No response to either remote or manual buttons. No change after unplugging...

Had same prob;em. Replace main board and now works just fine. You need to take the back off and under the metal cover is the main board. The part number should start with 3320-xxxx-xxxx. You can purchase the board from Vance Baldwin. vancebaldwin.com sign in as a guest. I will warn you the cost of the board is high.

Vizio P4 Plasma green blotches

The same thing happened to me Twice!. First time it was under warranty. Now it it out and Vizio has not interest in helping me. The first time the repair man changed the motherboard, which worked for about a year. Looks like I will be buying a new TV soon, but certainly NOT a Vizio, they are junk
Anyone out there know how much a motherboard costs?
