If the problem is still persisting then you must try to log on to your facebook id from another system to confirm your account is fine. Then use a good registery cleaner like the advanced system care which is a free download to use for a total clean up. Use a good antivirus to clear off any malwares,.If after all this you are not able to log on then it is possible that some virus/malware had taken files off and corrupted the registery. In this case you will need to try restoring your system to an earlier date by opening control panel choosing backup/restore and do the resetting. If this wont solve the issue you will have to reinstall the OS software on your system, if you have the back up CD use this or otherwise reinstall. This means formatting your main drive , so make sure your files are saved off into other sectors before you attempt. Take help if not familiar so that you can learn in the process. Hope you try.
