same problem-downloaded drivers from Belkin website twice and doesn't recognize either time-what to do?

THis is not a solution, as recommended from Rec. #1. The error still shows up. Obviously this is a common problem. Does anyone actually know of a solution?

Windows server 2008, it did not do this on first attempt, unfortunately the wireless LAN service was not installed at that time. running the installer again uninstalled original installation, running it again gave the "not found" error as has all subsequent attempts.

Download the appropriate driver file from Belkin. Make sure you get the correct version. The file will be something like f5d7050-ver4.exe. Now right click on the file and you should get a menu that includes "Extract files to..". I extracted the files to the Belkin directory to fix the corrupted installation, but I suppose it doesn't really matter where the file resides. Now start your hardware installation wizard (in XP, in my case) and when you get to where it asks for the blkwguxp.sys, you'll know exactly where to find the missing file. The installation should go smoothly with the blk@#$% file in the correct place.

I have lost my CD installation software of Belkin N wireless USB network adopter. now i need it to reinstall it .so, can you tell me that how can i reinstall it without CD installation software.

You just need to go to the BELKIN Support website and select your exact model of USB adapter as well as the operatin system that your computer is running. Here is the link to the support website:

Just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated.

When you find the driver for your model of USB adapter, just download the file and run it, then follow the onscreen instructions to install your USB adapter.

Good luck.

Drivers won't install

Two possibilites here
1. the driver CD is corrupt , though belkin is a plug n play adapter, there is no need to install the cd
2. Since you getting an excalmation suggests , windows recoganises the new hardware but fails to install.
The best option is either change the manufacturer of the adapter or reinstall windows , it should fix your problem
