Question about NetGear : WG111 54 Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter, RETAIL (DSNGWG111)
My belkin fsd7050 network adapter wil not install. I lost the instalation cd, and when i tried to install it on my new computer the windows hardward wizard tried to install it, but it said it needed blkwguxp.sys. Is there i place where i can download this file? belkins site was no help i foud the drivers i needed, but once i install them they wont even recognise that a network adapter is pluged in.
F5D7050 drivers; http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=F5D7050&aid=5381&scid=0
I would unplug the adapter when installing; and wait for the software to say plug in adapter.

Download the appropriate driver file from Belkin. Make sure you get the correct version. The file will be something like f5d7050-ver4.exe. Now right click on the file and you should get a menu that includes "Extract files to..". I extracted the files to the Belkin directory to fix the corrupted installation, but I suppose it doesn't really matter where the file resides. Now start your hardware installation wizard (in XP, in my case) and when you get to where it asks for the blkwguxp.sys, you'll know exactly where to find the missing file. The installation should go smoothly with the blk@#$% file in the correct place.
