First off, this section is about Cars and Trucks so unless you burned yourself on your vehicle, I'm not allowed to answer.
Assuming you did, I've heard that it does work. Before I tried it, I'd research it.... Google "egg whites for burn treatment" and, I'd sure discuss it with my doctor if I had a serious burn.
Skim milk has little to no fat, therefore it will not thicken when whipping. If you want to whip it, I suggest you dissolve a packet of unflavored gelatin in 1/4 oz skim milk, microwave it for about 30 seconds until the gelatin is dissolved, and add 2-3/4 cups cold skim milk. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes or until the consistency of egg whites, then try whipping it. Good luck!
Possibly the function of cream of tartar in ice cream making is to stablise egg whites so the ice cream is similar in texture to whipped cream or meringue so you might try "use an equal amount of white vinegar or lemon juice, or omit the cream of tartar entirely". Have fun experimenting !
White smoke in the exhaust, more so on a cold start. That's steam. Water is getting into the combustion chamber. Most likely coolant. Put your hand in the white smoke to capture the odor. (don't burn yourself) What does your hand smell like? Coolant (anti-freeze & water) smells sweet. Likeliest cause = head gasket. Possible = cracked head - depending on how hot it got. Less likely = cracked intake manifold. Maybe a blown head gasket
Hi Leslie. www.mendingshed.com has a Kitchenaid Repair Manual available for a free download. If you're going to attempt a repair yourself, this manual will come in handy. You haven't said what model of mixer you have, so I'm only able to guess that this manual will cover your needs.
If this solution has assisted you, please rate it. Good luck! ricardok45
