Where is it missing? Be more specific. Missing cd/dvd icon in your windows drive folder means your device is not present or not connected. Check your physical hardware connection.

My CD-ROM is not recognising any CD/DVD And CD-ROM icon is also missing in my computer menu

Go to Control Panel/System/Hardware, delete the CD-ROM, and reboot so the system can find it again. If it doesn't come back after the reboot, then try physically detaching and reattaching the drive (with the power off, of course).

Use the net to download driver. Then you can try using your drive. Otherwise your drive may have gone defective itself not allowing windows to see it.
