1-keep good ventillation around and do not block any ventillation holes with any thing.
2-check your connection cable in good condition no touching of inner conductor with any chasis.
3-check your loudspeakers and apply them to the system one by one until you find the bad one(which make the problem if it is bad)

Technics SA-DV290 Amp. Sound cuts out as volume is increased

hello it sound like the output ic may be in trouble you may have just dry joint on the ic which just resolder it . or there could be a capacitor leaking or they may have swelled up in which you will have to replace. it's best to do some visual checks first i'e look for any burnt parts any capacitor with bulging tops

My su g90 shuts off when i turn it up loud what do

Amplifiers get hot. The more you crank the volume up (or use extended for extended periods), the more current is required. When it gets hot, there is a fan motor (on the back), that should turn on. I believe your fan motor (brush) is worn out and therefore non-functional. Under this condition when the system overheats, it automatically changes mode to protect circuits.

Also note: if it works when you initially turn it on (cold) for a few minutes it should work fine...until it starts getting hot inside the case.

THE AMPLIFIER CUTS OFF WHEN I INCREASE THE SOUND.HD560

I've just fixed a Denon amp with the same problem. Replace the mains plug - especially if it a moulded type. Likely that the wires inside the plug have frayed to the extent that there aren't enough strands left to carry the load when the volume is cranked up.
