Blue...something... on the mirror inside the camera body

I picked up my camera today and noticed a blue smudge I guess you could call it. I took the lens off of it and looked inside. The best way to describe it is it's like when a regular house hold mirror is defective so there's a blue haze on part of it. What would have caused this. The camera was fine a couple of weeks ago. No change to how it's stored or anything. It hasn't left the house so it can't be a weather related thing.....any ideas?

It probably is the antihalo coat that covers the glass, probably was cleaned with much strength and ripped a little, personaly i believe is not big deal.

I have a Nikon d50, had it since 2006, I took a picture, heard a weird noise, and now the viewfinder is dark as if I have a lens cap on (I don't!) I took off the lens and saw inside the body of the...

Inside the camera is a mirror which reflects the scene up to the viewfinder. It flips out of the way when you press the shutter button. When the mirror flips up, the shutter opens and exposes the sensor. When you look inside, if the mirror is stuck in an up position, you will not see anything in the viewfinder. However, the mirror is super delicate....do not touch its surface or try to force it.

My pictures all come out with a smudge depending on the focus is howm noticeable it comes out on the image

This is almost certainly due to dirt on your lens or mirror - possibly your sensor. If you have two interchangable lenses try them both and see if there is a difference. If no difference the mirror or sensor is probably dirty. In either case, I would suggest you have them cleaned professionally unless you are confident about working inside your camera. If there is no smudge with one lens then the other lens must be dirty. Clean both ends carefully with soft, lint free cloth.

Dark spots on my sensor

Are you talking about spots you see on the pictures? Are these spots you see in the same place on all the pictures? If you really want to see if your sensor is dirty pick a clear day with a great blue sky focus to infinity and then shift the lens to manual focus and the program to "P" take a pitch of the blue sky. Then down load this picture to the computer and open it up to 100% and look it over if there are spots then the sensor should be cleaned. Even if you take the lens off and look into the camera body you still can't see the sensor all you are looking at is the mirror inside the prism box.
To clean the sensor you need to put the camera into "clean" mode which locks the mirror up. It may be possible you just have a dirty lens or UV filter.

My Nikon D90 has started to shoot images with what appears to be hair in lens, Switched lense to Macro and hair is still there It is always in varying shapes, so to speak But is ruining my images It...

If you switch lenses and the hair is still appearing on your pictures, it is quite possible you have an actual hair or thread or something located in the camera body in the way of the sensor. Remove your lens and visually examine the inside of the body for debris. Stay clear of the sensor and the mirror, but you can use tweezers to remove an obvious foreign object. You can also command your mirror to stay up and out of the way (see the camera setup menu "mirror lock up") for closer examination. It's best to use a bulb type squeeze blower to blow out debris from inside the camera. Do an internet search on "rocket air blower" and you'll see what I mean. Blowing air from your mouth can introduce moisture.

My developed color film from a Canon EOS has a notable thin line across the top which appears medium to dark-blue in all of my prints, especially those with blue sky tones. Is this a light leak? If so,...

Try to dust off the inside of the body, the mirror and ckeck if it is movin gorectly or if there's something in the way. Also it mai be "something scratching the negative from the front or the back, check your negative."

At the top of my projector image there are a series of blue dots

You need to clean the mirrors inside your projector, you can either open the shell and use compressed air, but i will recomende u to go to someone who works with things like that. Its cheap to clean a projector by a pro, it takes a pro about 10-15 minits to do it.

If u gona use compressed air, make sure u biy air special for elecronics and nevere ever hold it near the mirrors.

Good luck!

Blue color smears on every page

If you're still getting smudges, there must still be a label or part of a label either on one of the image drums or the transfer belt, i've found in the past it somethings gets stuck inside the unit on the cleaning blade. What i suggest is you run a print and open the front door at the paper travels along the transfer belt, look at all the image drums and see if you can see the smudge on one of them, if so the problem is caused by that cartridge if not it's in the transfer belt somewhere. You may need to try stopping the printer a few times and if the problem is in one of the cartridges, you will mst likely have to replace it, as with the transfer belt if you think that's causing the problem it's easier to remove it and rotate the belt manually.

Please note the image drums and the transfer belt are all light sensative
