I HAVE A SNACKTIME MEC.MACHINE IT GOT WET AND NOW DOES NOY WORK ANY SUG.
Good Afternoon friend, thanks for your inquiry!
Based off the information you have provided I have identified a few possibilities to why your freezer door is not closing as the drawer glides or gasket. If the drawer glides are off balance or damaged it could cause the door to not close properly.
If the gasket is warped that could also be the cause of the door not closing. I would check the seal of your gasket using a dollar bill. Place a dollar bill between the body of the freezer and close the door. The dollar bill should stay in place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls out when placed between the gasket and cabinet double check to see if the door is being blocked by anything stopping it from closing it. If nothing is stopping the door from closing then replace the gasket. Hopefully this helps to some degree. -Matt
Hello ttd1977 - Often when one door is closed and the other opens, it is because either the hinges are damaged or the refrigerator has a poor door sealed. Trying checking and see if the door seal is bad; place a dollar bill between the body of the freezer and the door. Now close the door. The dollar bill should stay in place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls out when placed between the gasket and cabinet double check to see if the door is being blocking by anything stopping it from closing. If the gasket is not sealing properly, it may possibly near replacing. Since there are cost differences in parts it is always a good idea to have a certified technician properly diagnosis your appliance. Thanks for allowing me to help you.
