Question about Mitsubishi WD-62725 62" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

1 Answer

Tv problem Well I hope this can help me out. I have wd-62725 dlp set and I turned the tv on tonight to see "flicker" on all inputs. I can still see the picture but it has some type of interference in the picture. When I turned off my surround sound of which I amm using vide switching, cleared up the problem for about thirty minutes but now i am back to the same. I power cycled the Tv but to no evail. I am a tv salesman by trade for the past 12 years and I can't think of aresolution rather than buying a new tv because of the ridiculous parts and repair costs! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Timer light is blinking and won't come on

Thats a very common problem with that model which is the V26 chassis. You can get the V26 Chassis DLP DM ? Power repair kit from which has the replacement caps known to fail on the DM and Power boards. The kit also has the CD with step by step repair instructions.

Blinking green light, but tv won't come on

If your Mitsubishi WD-62725 Rear Projection TV is stuck to green blinking LED light of death, then this is an indication that the DM hasn't booted up. There's a repair kit for this kind of symptoms. It includes parts that are known to be faulty, detailed instructions that will guide you how to do the repair. Click it HERE for the repair kit's link.

Your TV is a V26 chassis. When you are on the link, you can see 2 version of V26 DLP DM repair kit. One is an upgraded version of the capacitor and the other one is the original capacitance and voltage in radial packaged. Its up to you to decide whether you will go upgrade or not.

Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

Call Encompass Parts 1800-638-3328 or look them up online they list your TV as well as Service Manual and Keep in Mind just because Light Engine was replaced 3 months ago does not mean it cannot be same Problem so if you have any warranty on it replace it again!

New bulb/TV still shuts down

Its far more likely the result of the power pwb capacitors that have failed. As the 34 code will appear if the capacitors fail on the Power PWB. You can get the V26 DLP Power repair kit at the following link.with free instructions

WD-62725 Need to reset to start

Good Day;

When TV will not turn on press the menu & input buttons on TV's panel, hold for 5 seconds. Count the blinks, eg; blinks 2 then pauses then blinks again. It should do this 3 times.l With that information respond back.Or the d-board is bad.

Good Luck.
