Divided picture on Protron PD-800 DVD/CD/CD-R PLAYER

Hi Alberto,

The split screen (identical display left & right) indicates that your DVD is on Progressive Scan.

P scan refers to progressive scanning mode and is not an indication of something broken but rather is a feature. What you can do is look over your remote and check if it's got a PS or PScan button. Pressing the button should revert to the single display. If there is no such button, pls check your menu or settings and should be there somewhere. At other times, there is a small hard switch at the rear (or front) of the player itself just for this purpose.

On your concern for no color, determine the color system of the disc you're playing, the setting of your DVD player as well as the color system of your TV. They should be the same. The 3 systems are NTSC, PAl and SECAM.
