Blurry Pictures (by 4 users)

posted by fathom on Nov 11, 2007

When we first bought this camera it worked perfectly almost everytime. However lately, there are so many blurry pictures, even when I'm taking still object and with tripod.

We have set the Stabilizer to Mode 2 , is there any other setting that we have to change ?
I have the same problem.

feel that some of my photos are not in focus as I would like them. they are not totally blurry, but not a good sharp image. I set my camera back to factory reset in case something had been set improperly. then went thru and set to my liking. Still, no improvement and it is not on manual focus. I also feel the photos aren't always as bright as they used to be and often the colour not as true anymore. Other times it seems perfect??

I have the exact same problem with my camera. Almost always blurry and yellowish tint to the pics.

I have had my Lumix FZ20 for a couple of years and have taken some great pictures from actions shots of my grandkids to wonderful landscapes of the Japan. However, I have noticed that most (over 50%) of my pictures are blurry now and/or are yellowish (with or without the flash). This began within the last few months.

Check that you have not got Macro set accidently.
If lighting level are low and the camera is selectinging a slow speed - reset to Apeture Priority -setting 'A' and and be very gentle with the release - the slightest movement will blur an image on long exposure.
Try these thing and if still introuble come back with more detail
