Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Look for Documents and Manuals then search them for anything relating to the Bios Password.

First make sure usb cable connected to harddrive is working fine. try it in different usb ports. Press windows key +R key so you can see run then type in run "devmgmt.msc" then press ok so you can see device manager uninstall all usb drivers then it automatic install usb drivers. then check. Also you need to change registry for that type in run "regedit" then press ok then you can see registry editor then locate below key. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11 CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} And remove upper filter and lower filter.Then restart computer then check. Also locate the below key and make sure it's value is 3 not 4. HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\usbstor make sure start value is 3 not 4. Let me know if you need further assistance. if you want to use your old drive in your new laptop then your have go for new case 2.5" case which will fix your old HDD from USB prot u will able to use

frist chack your HDD it's ID or SATA according that u buy a case

Jak, Go to Start->Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager-> Display/Monitor. Select the monitor and uninstall it. The Go to Actions and select Scan foe new Hardware. Windows will automatically detect the hardware and install the driver for it. Save it and reboot into full screen windows.
