I have a play station 3 online with a sagem router on broad band of sky i can not get a game online on call of duty 4 playstation told me the ports are blocked i have the port numbers but i do not know were to phone or where to go to change the port numbers i can not get help anywere can u help me ?

It could be your router or network settings for your internet. Do you use Port forwarding? The Playstation site tells you all the ports you need to use. Also try putting your playstation in a DMZ.

Most likely you are behind a Firewall / or preset Router Settings. If this is the PS3 version of the game, most likely its the router. Double check with the specs for Port forwarding online, and make sure the ports are open to allow you to play.

CoD in most instances uses the same ports for all there games. This is the first thing I found after looking through Google search. Hope it helps.

it means that you need to change the settings on your router or access point.........you need to open all ports...when ports are closed you can surf web but not play others online

If you are on a router you may want to open the ports for online play. 28960 on TCP & UDP P.s. If you are on a linksys router the Ip that you type in your browser is most likely 192.168.1.1 and for Dlink 192.168.0.1 If you dont use either of these router companies check the manual and it should tell you the Ip address, or go into CMD prompt on windows and type in "Ipconfig"

You must know the required ports of the games that you were playing and after that you must need to setup the ports on your router.
