You may have a bad power supply in the tower unit !! Have the tower checked out for a power problem!! But first check your house ac breakers and check that your power strip isn't defective or tripped !! swampratt200
is your powersupply overloaded by extras (e.g a new graphics card/processor) ? or has it simply given up the ghost? the pc could also be drawing alot of powewr form you electrics and could've blown a fuse in your power socket/too much demand. you could also try and update your bios chip. you need to be a bit more specific aswell ;)
Sorry to tell you, e-machines are notorious for the motherboards going down, if you've tried a PSU swap and removed and unplugged everthing from the mobo except the power, cpu fan and power switch with no result it will be the mobo, a new one is the only solution.
1. Make sure it's plugged in propery. 2. Make sure that it's PSU's power switch is turn on.
If both of those have been done, and it's not turning on, it could be a defective Power Supply Unit in the tower. OR, depending on what you're running in your tower, your parts MAY be demanding more power than the PSU is capable of putting out. If neither of those two bits aren't correct, then you could have a RAM, CPU, Motherboard, etc issue going on in your tower.
