Typing Screen kepts exiting on psp

My start button all of a sudden stops working on my psp.And it won't let me type anything if I'm on the net!! It pauses and unpauses when listening to music and freezes during games.. What is wrong with my start button..?

the start button is eventually burnt the buttons function you should take it to the nearest sony world or any psp repair shop to get it repaired
