PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a uniqueeight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PINnumber to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are thengiven 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. If an incorrect PUK code is enteredafter the 10th attempt, you will block your SIM card permanently and willrequire a new SIM card from your mobile phone provider. Hi the PUK code is the security code for the sim card its on their to stop people stealing your numbers, the only place you can get the PUK code from is your service provider. All you need to do is give them a call and give them the phone number of the sim card thats asking for the PUK code or give them the number written on the sim card, they will then give you the 10digit PUK code. your service provider dont charge for this service and will give you the code over the phone for free.
now the other option you have is if you dont need to use that sim card then you could go and get a new sim card and put this in your phone, also when you buy a new or get a new sim card you will be given the PUK code it will be written on the card the sim card is stuck to.
their is no other way of getting the PUK code as its only help by the person who owns the sim card and the service provider so you will need to give them a call to get the code but it is free and they will give it you over the phone.
some service providers will give you the PUK code via their web site but not all service providers offer this service so you will need to check this.

The Puk number depends on the pin lock on the sim, the phone will still work with a different Sim card.
To unlock the Puk code you need to call the contact number for the service provider for your Sim. Alternatively you can unlock the PUK code at a local shop for a small fee, £10 or £20 in UK.
To unlock PUK, call the company that branded your Sim card.
You bloked the Pin code that is why you have that problem, go to place were you buy that simcard and ask for puk. the sim is bloked not the phone.in some country you can get the puk code and all the detail from that card from website if the card is registredin your name and you have to know the detail's from registration

when it says puk code... it refers to your sim card provider,, here's what you gotta do... use other sim and call your sim provider custumer care assistance , and ask for the puk code of your block ed sim... and they will give you codes ..it's toll free....
