Probably solved long ago, but this sounds like RF interference. Is there a radio or television transmitting site within a few miles of your location? Or it could be the projector itself causing interference to the circuitry within the player yet not be a problem with any other source. Try it with another TV with the projector on and off. Even a small black and white will do.

I cant stop the tv monitor screen from jumping it has something with the dvr

Hello What type of TV do you have, analog or digital? If you have an analog TV and the screen is rolling it is the vertical hold. Because the vertical hold operate on 60 cycle which the same as AC line cycle. The 60 cycle in the vertical hold is as a oscillator or timing circuit. When the TV pick up the image for the NV devise, they just don't mix. Why, because image intensifier tube in the NV devise is operation at 25 to 50K Hz or cycles. The vertical hold circuit pick up on the 50K Hz signal which mixes with 60 cycle timing circuit causing the screen to rolling with lines across the screen @ 60 cycles. Digital camera and digital camcorder with digital TV will help, or a image inverter that takes this 50k Hz signal and covert it to some that analog TVs can use. GB...stewbison

How do you hook up this dvd player to the tv. the plugs are blue green and red instead of white yellow and red

The DVD player has component video as well as the S-video and RCA video and two RCA audio outputs.

If your player is the same as my picture, the component video jacks are in a horizontal line at the top of the back of the player. The white and red audio jacks are in a vertical line to the left. The yellow video out jack is in the second line just below the component video jacks (in a line with the coax port, the S-video port is in between the coax and the RCA video out). (The white jack is at the top left of the connections block, red below that, and yellow to the right of the red.)

I hope this helps.

I don't think the software will support this configuration as far as control is concerned.

Green line on TV with DVD playing

The aspect ratio is fine, I just fixed mine you have to use the TV remote, and press the left or right directional button depending on where the green line. Philips TV offsets the picture when using HDMI, but its easily fixable using this remedy. Time to take the tape off haha!

Door won't open and turntable does not turn

unfortunately you may have to reset the unit. This will cause you to lose everything saved in memory so make sure its not just a DVD stuck in the mechanism. To reset to factory default turn unit off then press and hold Stop and press Standby/On

No horizontal red convergence control

Probably the red convergence output IC has failed. The chip is basically a stereo amplifier that serves as a horizontal amplifier and a vertical amplifier. I suspect the vertical part has failed and is not uncommon. Should be generic STK392-150's or maybe STK392-110/120 I believe. By the way when the line moves up and down that means the vertical is working when it moves side to side the horizontal is working.
