I'm trying to locate the radiator fan relay on both a 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.3L. The fuse box cover under the hood of the 96 Dodge Caravan does not show the radiator fan relay, and under the dash does not have a cover with information as to which relay is for what? I need a diagram or label for each relay and fuse. The radiator works when hooked up directly to the battery. Can you help me with this?
On My 97 3.8 engine and my 99 3.3 engine it was behind driverside wheelwell. You take out the Air filter breather intake. once it is removed you will see it bolted to the frame, for a good ground. Clean up that area if there is any rust, you will not make a good ground. i think 2, 10 mm bolt and a big plug. it takes about 30 mins, to do job.
Go to "Google images" and search for "Caravan relays" all kinds of pictures, just find one that matches yours.

the cooling fan relay is not in the fuse box.
it is a solid state relay bolted to the radiator core support just behind the bumper

The panel or the housing normally lists the names of the items that are controlled by the fuses. If that doesnt work, disconnect the battery terminals and you are good to go

the relay is on the drivers side just below the headlight. you have to jack the car up to see it. it's bolted to the body with 2 8mm bolts. that is you have to use 8mm socket. It's black and about two inches square. It's a little hard to see but it is there. hope this helps leave comment.
