Footrest/legrest come made with different angles. Their are standards of 60, 70, 80, and 90 degree angles. The lower the number the more the footrest/legrest stick out from the chair. You would need to put an angle gage on the angled tubing and get your angle before knowing what you might be able to get. There are also adjustable angle legrest that can be adjusted as needed without using any tools.

Jal Check with your provider and ask them for a pair of Elevated Leg rests for your chair. They might have to install the holders for the leg rests but that is an easy job. And they are fairly inexpensive and can be put on and taken off easily. Hope this helps you

Seat sloped too far forward

You need to be sitting in the chair and the middle lever is the one which releases and secures the angle. I find the adjustment is easier if you release the backrest lever, the third lever to the rear, lean back in the chair which will raise the front seating cushion while moving the backrest back. Using you feet on the floor push back in the chair until the seat feels better. When it is at an angle you like, push the middle lever down to lock the seat in place. Then adjust the backrest with the third lever.

How to build height without medicines suggest only exercise

1. VERTICAL HANGING:
This is a simple but an extremely effective stretching exercise which you can do at your home. All you need to have is a solid bar strong enough to hold an individual, fixed at least 7 feet above the ground such that the distance between your feet and the floor is atleast 4-6 inches. Hold your arms neither closer nor wider and start hanging. Hold as long as you can, and as you begin to tire, slowly swing back and forth and try to touch the ground with your feet. This will flex your spine and elongate it, so that you can add few inches to your height
Make sure that you flex your spine while stretching, and not merely twisting your wrists
Perform the Workout 3 times a week for optimal results
2. COBRA STRETCH:
This is basically a Yoga exercise intended to stretch your spine and make it supple and flexible, so that the cartilage between your vertebrae grows thereby increasing your vertical height
Lie on the floor face down with palms on the floor under your shoulders. Begin to arch your spine up leading with your chin. Arch as far back as possible. Do 3-4 repetitions with each repetition lasting between 5-30 seconds
3. PILATES ROLL OVER:
This is an excellent workout to stretch your spine and lengthen your upper body. Apart from your spine, it also stretches and lenghthens the vertebrae of your neck.
Lie on your back with your arms along your sides, palms down. With your legs together, extend them straight up toward the ceiling and bend them backwards so that they touch the floor. It may not be possible to touch the floor at first, but you can do this by practice. The more your stretch, the more your spine lenghthens
4. FORWARD SPINE STRETCH:
Sit up tall on a mat. Your legs are extended about shoulder width apart, and your feet are flexed. Reach the top of your head but let your shoulders stay relaxed. Inhale and extend your arms out in front of you and slowly bend forward and try to touch the tips of your toes. If you are able to touch your toetips, stretch even forward so that your spine is flexed to the maximum extent.
Do 3-4 repetitions and hold each stretch for 10-15 seconds
5. ANKLE WEIGHTS: This exercise is solely intended to increase the length of your lower body, by stretching the cartilate between your knees. Prolonged stretching will elongate the cartilage and increase its mass, which in turn will increase the length your lower body
Sit on a high chair and use a Ankle weight fastener to add weights to your ankle. Start with small weights initially and gradually increase as you go on. Allow your legs to stretch down with the pressure of the weights. Once completed, remove the weights and relax your legs by kicking your legs gently for 5-10 times, and then vigorously for 5-10 times. This will flex your knee cartilate to enable it to grow in length

Perform the Workout 3 times a week for optimal results

I need clear step by step instructions on how to transform the transfomer ultimate bumblebee from robot mode to car mode

Preparing For Transformation
  • Begin with the action figure fully transformed into Bumblebee. Face the figure toward you and bring his arms down to his sides and push his legs together. The figure should end up with all parts parallel to one another. At this point push the legs up toward Bumblebee's chest. The legs will slide upward so do not bend them.
  • Creating the Hood
  • With Bumblebee's legs secured, use your finger to lift under his chest plate, bringing what will be the hood of the car upward while the windows of the car will shift 90 degrees downward. Now bring the arms of the action figure straight up.
  • Final Transformation
  • The final step to transforming Bumblebee back into a car is to take the arms that are pointing up and bring them forward while also moving them toward the center of the figure. Notice the shoulders of Bumblebee have a rotating joint. This is what is used to guide the arms into place. Do not force them or the arms will break off, instead keep them moving until they firm into place, leaving no parts of the figure moving freely. Flip Bumblebee over and he will be in his car form.

Why does bike size is important?

It is clear that wearing a shirt two sizes too small would be uncomfortable, and wearing a shirt two sizes too large wouldn't be good either. In the same way, riding a wrong size bike will fit badly and make you uncomfortable, too. There are two main problems, one obvious and one a little more subtle.

The first big problem with a bike that doesn't fit is saddle height. You need the saddle to be just high enough to give your legs the right extension when you pedal. Too low and your legs stay bent too much all the way around; this doesn't use your leg muscles well and you wear out quickly. Too high and you rock back and forth on the saddle as you pedal, very uncomfortable. Either extreme (too high or too low) can also be very hard on your knees.

Saddle height is adjustable, of course, and if the bike frame is at least close to the right size, you'll be able to adjust the saddle to the proper height. If the frame is a lot too small, you can usually overcome this problem by buying a longer seatpost to move the saddle back up to where you want it. (But that causes other problems we'll talk about soon.) If the frame is much too large, you won't be able to drop the seat far enough to be usable, and there is no practical way around that problem.

The saddle on a bike can be adjusted up and down several inches, even as much as a foot if you consider replacing the original seatpost with a longer one. But the handlebars can't be moved nearly as far as saddles can. Most handlebars can be adjusted up and down or forward and back only two inches or so, and even this small change is often a complicated operation of replacing parts, not just loosening a few bolts.

This can lead to all sorts of problems. If the handlebar is too far away from the saddle, you have to bend down further and reach far out to grab the bars. This puts more weight on your back, arms and hands, which is uncomfortable. Having the handlebar too close to the saddle is less of a problem, but in extreme cases it can cause your knees to bump the handlebars when you are standing up to climb a hill. Having the handlebar a lot lower than the saddle is similar to having it too far away-you have to bend far over and reach further to grab the bars, an uncomfortable position. Having the handlebars high up is not a big problem, except that sitting upright slows you down. Your legs aren't as strong when you are sitting up, and that position causes more wind resistance when riding fast or into a wind.

Bike size has a big effect on handlebar position. If the frame is too small, you'll have to push the seat up high to fit your legs. You won't be able to move the handlebar up as much, so it will be a long reach back down to grab the bars, and your back will be quite bent over. If on the other hand the frame is too large, the bars will be up high but might be too far forward (since the frame gets longer as well as taller).

Need to remove the bad batteries Jet 3 power chair

    Hello Donald ,
You may have solved this problem by now ,but just in case you have not, here goes.

Make sure the chair is turned off and engauged in the drive mode meaning not in the free wheeling mode. This way it will not roll around on you during the battery change out.

Go to the rear of the chair and slightly turn the two black plastic lock pins, one on each side they actually lock the small )) shaped cover in place. Turn these with your fingers or you can also insert a dime in the slot on top of each pin to turn them . You will be able to tell when they have unlocked as the )) shaped cover will be loose. Lift the cover up and under it you will find the battery connector, unplug it and leave the cover off for now.

Next ,move to the front of the chair and just to the rear of the footplate you will find a locking pin that runs through the lower rear bar of the footplate as well as the chair frame itself . Pull this pin completely out. Once done you should be able to pull the entire footplate assembly out torward you, Black plastic front cover included. Once you have it pulled outward lift it upward and it should lift completely off the chair. This done , you should actually be looking at the front battery which is sitting in a black plastic tray. Gently but with a firm grip grab the tray anyplace you can and slowy begin to slide it out from under the chair torward you taking care not to tangle the battery connector at the rear with any other wiring on its way out. Once you have the tray slid out into the open ,you will be looking at both batteries after which you will need to unhook the straps that secure the Batteries to the tray after which you will need grab your wrenches and remove the battery harness itself from each battery. You may want to do just one battery at a time this way you'll have less wiring to keep track of when wiring in the new Batteries. The Batteries in your Jet 3 are a size known as U-1 deep cycle sealed maint. free batts, You can use either Gel Cell or seale3d LA replacements . Though they are much cheaper, you cannot use lawn tractor batteries. Though they look the same the internal technology between medical powered mobility batteries and tractor batteries are entirely different. The latter would only run your chair for maybe a half hour or so before needing charge.
Take great care to make sure your wiring hookups are correct and that you position the rear connector plug to the rear of the tray. This way you will be able to locate it easier once you have slid the tray back in under the chair and it is time to go to the rear of the chair and reconnect that plug. As for everything else ,reattach it in reverse of the way you removed it including remembering to slide the lockpin back into the front footplate frame. Give a tug on the footplate when done to make sure it is locked and secure.
In closing I offer this valuable advice : When working with any of these batteries, always were safety glasses or goggle and gloves (terminals are lead). I also advise removal of metal rings ,watches, bracelets etc that could create a short when reaching in and around the battery terminal. Take great care with your tools and wrenches in making sure you keep and eye on both ends of the tools at all times. This way you will not accidentally cross the posts of the battery. Take your time ,use proper safety technique and you'll do fine. The following is Pride Mobility's step by step for battery change out and is basically the same as I have sent . Can never have to much info but can always find yourself with not enough. Take Care

    To replace the batteries:
    1. Turn off the power to the controller.
    2. Make sure that the power chair is in drive mode. See III. "Your Power Chair."
    3. Turn the rear shroud fasteners one-quarter turn in any direction. See figure 6.
    4. Remove the rear shroud.
    5. Unplug the battery connector. See figure 26.
    6. Remove the retaining pin from the foot platform and lift the platform up and away from the power base. See figure 19.
    7. Slide the battery tray forward.
    8. Unfasten the reusable strap around the front battery.
    9. Disconnect the wiring harness from the front battery.
    10. Remove the front battery.
    11. Unfasten the reusable strap around the rear battery.
    12. Disconnect the wiring harness from the rear battery.
    13. Remove the rear battery.
    14. Place a new rear battery on the battery tray. Make sure that the terminals are facing forward.
    15. Fasten the reusable strap around the rear battery.
    16. Connect the wiring harnesses to the rear battery.

    Wheelchair support

First of all, you should be aware of your Center-of-Gravity. Many activities require the wheelchair user to reach, bend and transfer in and out of the wheelchair. These movements will cause a change to normal balance, center-of-gravity, and weight distribution of the wheelchair.

To determine and establish your particular safety limits, practice bending, reaching and transferring activities in several combinations in the presence of another individual BEFORE attempting active use of the wheelchair. roper positioning is essential for your safety.

When reaching, leaning, bending sideways or forward, it is important to use the casters as a tool to maintain stability and balance. When you are reaching, leaning and bending forward, position the casters so that they are extended away from the drive wheels and engage wheel locks.

Never attempt to reach an object if you have to move forward in the seat or pick them up from the floor by reaching between your knees. When you're reaching or bending backward, position wheelchair as close as possible to the desired object.

Position the casters so the are extended away from the drive wheels to create the longest possible wheelbase.

Reach back only as far as your arm will extend without changing your sitting position. When another person is tipping the wheelchair, he should grasp the back of the wheelchair on a non-removable part.

Inform the wheelchair occupant before tipping the wheelchair and remind them to lean back.

Be sure the occupant's feet and hands are clear of all wheels and/or any other pinch points.
