I have an electric recliner chair that is in full reclining position.Is their a manual release somewhere on the chair to put it back in its upright position?

The Human Touch PC-075 recliner does not have a stop setting to limit the amount of recline. However, you may be able to adjust the recline tension by using the adjustment knob located under the seat. This will control the ease with which the chair reclines and returns to the upright position.

Most large recliners have removable backs. You must lift the rear shirt and look for the release latches. There will probably be an electrical connector or two as well if the device is a massage chair. Once you remove the back, then you can turn the chair on its side and then it should fit through most doorways.
personally i would pull the seats and weld them into a position that is comfortable both sides of the seat should be welded. a small mig welder would take care of this issue nicely and permanently ! .. jay Florida
On the back of the the seat back is a plastic tab connecting two lanyards/cords. These cords are used to adjust the seatback angle from the recline to full up-right position.
