Re:communication board I have an electrician doing repair work since there were two burnt out areas on the communication board or control unit. We have a replacement board and it came with some listed diodes that indicated which component it corresponded to but it does not list all of them. There are several diodes/relays,etc that are burnt out but do not know what component it corresponds to. Where can I get a diagram showing the entire communication board with a complete listing of the entire control boards. I have called asko but it was of no help.Thank you for your assistance.

What does it mean when my Frigidaire professional series dishwasher has an error code of 91 and the China/Crystal setting light is illuminated?

Rod, Try unplugging or turning off breaker for ten minutes to reset. If this does not fix, you may want a good Tech. have a look, diagnose and estimate repair.
Code E91 could be User Interface to Main Control Board communication error. Communication problem. Check the wiring between the Main Control Board and the User Interface Board. Wiring bad, correct wiring problem. Wiring good, replace the User Interface Board. If the problem is not corrected, replace the Main Control Board.

Dishwasher flooding

You can try checking the water level sensor/pressure switch hose/tubing has no holes in it or that the switch/unit is not faulty. A dishwasher will pump water out as soon as it is turned on. This is to ensure any remaining water that has collected in the unit is pumped out before filling for normal use. So if the drain pump does not pump out at power up, either the pump is faulted or the control board is faulted or (less usual) broken wires, connector plugs at control board or pump have come off. If the pump works, then the problem will be with the water level sensor or the tubing that joins the sensor to the dishwasher tub. Hope this helps. Any electrical work should be done by a licensed electrician.

Frigidaire gallery dishwasher CL code

CL is a generic clear code. Reset the unit at the household circuit breaker for about 10-15 minutes, and then retry. If the same code comes up then you have a communication error with your main control board, and will require a repair.

Hi Gurus - we have a Whirpool Gold Quiet Partner III whose control panel is dead. Pressing Air Dry doesn't seem to work. Looks ok at the fuse box. Should we get an electrician in, or an appliance...

On a lot of whirlpool models their is a fuse on the control board that is wired directly to the board if it goes out the machine will be dead exactly as your experiencing,i would call a appliance tech and if it something ya think ya can repair, reply back with model# and ill give ya part #

Hope this helped and if it did please give me 4 thumbs up

I have an error 04 showing on my dishwasher, and the cycle will not run. Please help!

dryer damper problem. there is another post that will help from electrolux personnel.
Thank you in advance for allowing Electrolux to assist you in
this matter.

I apologize for the inconvenience and concerns this dishwasher unit has been causing you. Unfortunately the error "E04" code does indicate an issue with the drying damper. Now this is something that a technician would have to assess because wiring is needed to be checked.

Check wiring between Main Control Board and upper fan. If correct, replace upper fan.

If your unit is brand new it is covered under warranty and you can choose to contact your dealer for a repair technician, or visit to find a listing in your area.

The dishwasher will not turn on

Congratulations - you found the fault !

The options you have are -
Buy areplacement board from a spares centre.
Buy a take- off board from a scrap one on Ebay.
Or - Learn about electronic repair - and identify the burnt component , buy the parts and replace it yourself.

You can take it to an electronic repair shop - if you can find one - or a electronic supply shop - and ask for a new one of "them".

If replacing a burnt component - often there is a cause other than just that component.
Experience tells you what else might be wrong to cause it.

Dishlex DX302SB Dishwasher water not heating, have changed the heating element without any success.

Who posted this comment I am really appreciative. I have had the same problem with my dishlex. I disassembled the plumbing and removed a chunk of plastic wrapping from inside the pump. Then I checked the heater with a multimeter. It measured fine.
The next day I read this post and have since removed the controller. I found the burnt solder joint mentioned. I have since cleaned up the mess, repaired the circuit board, re-soldered the effected component and the dishwasher is now working better than ever.

I have read elsewhere that this problem arises when the door is opened while the heater is on and the program hasn't been paused. I don't know if that is the exact cause but in my house we will be more careful about that from now on.

The damage to the circuit board was on the Normally Open terminal of the relay used to control the heater. The heater is marked as being about 2100 watts. The relay is marked as being able to switch 125Vac. Which is interesting because power here in Australia is 240Vac. At 240Vac the heater will draw a little under 10 amps when operating.

Anyway the circuit board trace is possibly a little narrow at the point where the burnt connection was and I can see why it would have burnt out. The other terminals on the relay were showing signs of becoming dry joints too. The repair was effected by completely removing the relay, cleaning all the joints, re-soldering the relay and laying a loop of tinned solid wire around the burnt terminal to replace the missing piece of circuit trace.

Anyone who has a little skill with a soldering iron could perform this repair. The worst that could happen is you could lift what is left of the circuit trace from the board. Since the controller is already broken you can have a go and probably save yourself the cost of a new controller.

I have a dx302. its not heating the water or drying.

My six year old Electolux Dishlex DX 403 dishwasher stopped heating the water. I found comments on the internet about burnt out solder joints in the control box. A friend opened the control box and found a blackened area on the back of the circuit board. Once the connection was re-soldered the water heated again. We also found that quite a few wires leading to the control box had overheated and the insulation had melted. Considering that this dishwasher was the top model from Electrolux at the time, I was not impressed. I had previously had a Vulcan Dishlex for almost 20 years.
Thanks to those people who previously posted information about this fault.

Make sure you visit the Bosch dishwasher recall website as this model is under the recall with a faulty controller which may cause a fire! Check your model under
then call 800.856.9226 to setup a recall repair appointment. We just found out about this recall and was never notified by Bosch even though we registered our unit after we purchased about poor customer service! Hope this helps!
