Re:communication board I have an electrician doing repair work since there were two burnt out areas on the communication board or control unit. We have a replacement board and it came with some listed diodes that indicated which component it corresponded to but it does not list all of them. There are several diodes/relays,etc that are burnt out but do not know what component it corresponds to. Where can I get a diagram showing the entire communication board with a complete listing of the entire control boards. I have called asko but it was of no help.Thank you for your assistance.

On my 05 Ford mustang v6, my fan only comes on when i turn my AC on and makes a funny noise when I turn the AC on, diagnostic test gave me a code, u1900, what does this mean and how do I fix it?

Where did you pull this code from ? What type scan tool did you use ,or was it a code reader ? Do you know about data communication networks on modern cars ? A U codes indicate a communication problem on the data network .
U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault-Receive Error Audio Control Module REFER to Section 418-00 . U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault-Receive Error ABS Module REFER to Section 418-00 . U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault-Receive Error Instrument Cluster REFER to Section 418-00 . U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault-Receive Error SJB REFER to Section 418-00 . The thing that would make this easier to diagnose would be to have a factory scan tool or a professional grade . Need to know what modules can communicate with scan tool .Honestly ,Don't think you can fix this . Dealer or ASE certified repair shop .Do you know what C.A.N. - controller area network is ? The vehicle has 3 module communications networks:
  • high speed controller area network (CAN)
  • medium speed CAN
  • international standards organization (ISO) 9141 communications network
The diagnostic tool connects to the communications networks through the data link connector (DLC). The DLC allows a diagnostic tool access to diagnose and test the vehicle systems of any module on the communications networks.
All 3 communications networks are connected to the DLC. This makes diagnosis and testing of these systems easier by allowing one diagnostic tool to be able to diagnose and control any module on the 3 communications networks from one common connector. The DLC can be found under the instrument panel between the steering column and the driver door. Which module doesn't communicate with scan tool ?

What causes the ground fault interrupter on the cord to trip. I don't see any exposed or overheated wiring. inside the control panel area or heater strip area

they work when the balance between the circuits is upset and they switch off
it is not from over current, burnt wires or dead short but by the potential to short
they trip in nanoseconds to prevent electrocution
Get in an accredited electrician to check the insulation and other possible areas for the fault ( water , vermin, faulty insulation, breaking electrical junction boards )

The supply is 220v going to pcb. indoor .the outdoor unit was not working due the power supply..was 110v,, prom the pcb indoor..

I assume you are in Australia? There should be a 240v feed to the indoor unit. Once the indoor unit has been switch on , there shouldbe a 240 v supply to the outdoor unit. The communications wire will fluctuate what voltage is supplied to the outdoor. Unless you are a licenced electrician, I would not suggest you attempt to check these figures as the risk of electrocution is very high. No power to the outdoor unit can be as simple as a failed air / pipe sensor on the indoor unit , or the indoor board itself is faulty. Call up an LG Agent in your area for service and to protect your welfare..

Circuit breakers tripped, had to replace fuses in the outdoor disconnect panel, after replaced fuses and turned on the breakers, I get F1 Error in air handler display which indicates a communication error...

Typically power going into the board but not coming out points to a bad board. Communication errors usually stop at the board, meaning components are ok but board is not. Cycle the power to both units, verify high and low voltage to the board.

My maytag 3000 washer displays f70

Hi

Error code F70 means Control Unit Failure, no communication is detected between the control board & interface. You'll need to use a multimeter to check for the continuity between the Keypad and the control board. Inspect the wiring between the boards. Also check for any burnt component on the control board. You may need to replace the control board or user interface. To be sure whether the boards use a multimeter. Usually if the drum moves then user interface is bad else its the control board. hope this helps...

Air conditioner won't turn on. Showing EE on the LED

hello. i can help you.

Check to see if there is power getting to the air conditioner. If it is a 110-volt unit, plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet the air conditioner is plugged into. If there's no power, check the fuses or circuit breakers. If there's still no power, you will need to contact a qualified electrician to restore power to the outlet.

If there is power to the appliance but it is still completely dead there may be a problem in one or more of the following areas:

  • Wiring (Inspect for any broken or burnt wiring)

  • Thermostat

  • Compressor

  • Overload and/or relay

  • Selector switch

  • Control board

Work on these areas of an appliance may require help from an appliance repair person or other qualified technician.

Hello. Let me try to help you. Since it is not running at all and stopped suddenly, I would first suspect that you lost power to the unir,

To repair

Replace burnt wiring and check for source of problem, IE what happened to cause wiring to burn.

Where can I find the part I need?

A complete failure of the oven could be caused by several things. If the unit has a master control, it could be defective or have a burned over connector in that area or any other within the unit. If you are unfamiliar with electric circuits, get a repair person. If you decide to open the unit and do a little eyeball work (with the power off) you may find your answer. Usually, there is visual indication of failures of this kind that are easy to spot.
