Red light on suggesting replacement of parts

i have replaced the ink toners with the ones you refill and replaced the correct chips on each one. the red light comes on to replace the toner, I open the lid take out the toner that it is telling me give it a quick shake replace and the light will turn green again, only to turn to red after the 2nd printout it switches color suggestions every time at other times it will ask me to replace the waste toner tank which I have taken out and cleaned and put it back in place. Do I need to get a new waste toner tank? Do I need to get the toners that are not refillable?
