Mine is just starting to do it. if I leave my tv on will it hasten this
or not? I am going to nip it in the **** by going to the place I bought
it and tell them what I just read here. Maybe it won't take long.

NOTE the power supply operates at 13.4 volts. The 10volt caps. should be replaced with 16volt or higher. Or you will have the same problem again in about 9-14 months. I repair about 4-6 of these a week. And it seems to be any brand and not just Samsung.

Check capacitors on top right corner of power supply. Mine had two 2200uF 10Volt capacitors bulging at the top, one was leaking. I replaced these and the problem is gone. You can order the capacitors on ebay. Board had two 2200uF 10volt caps and three 1000uF 25volt caps, all in the top right corner.
