Problem for Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-32FS120 32" TV

Wow... this i'm convinced, sony made this tv to die this year

i just got back to my house after a long day celebrating the 4th and my tv is doing the exact same thing as all of the descriptions (7x blinking lights),but i've been looking the problem up for about an hour and nearly all of the complaints i've read have been occuring this year. I don't know what's up with this tv but i dont like it and i think its time to have some fun with some buckshot.... ;D

Sony tv made a test when start up, and if something is rong it send information on Light Blinking codes.
SEVEN Blinks---High voltage shutdown. The high voltage has exceeded 33k
and the unit goes immediately into safety shutdown. Check power supply
regulation and horizontal circuits.

You are right! The problem you've described can't be fixed with troubleshooting. Your TV will have to be repaired. There is a part that has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. If you're still in warranty, the TV will be repaired at no charge to you. The warranty would likely be at least one year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. If you purchased an extended service plan they will repair the TV at no charge as well.

If the TV is no longer in warranty, it will likely cost a minimum of $150 parts and labor. This is assuming that you only need one circuit board or small part. If the problem is more than one of the circuit boards, the price of repair could go much higher.
