we put a disk in and it says closing then it says reading and the xbox says open again and it doesn't work

take you x box apart take the top of your cd drive off see if the magnet holder is their. if it is push the circle out. grab the magnet, place a cd in your drive place magnet on top 3 dots pointed down and viola it should read
