How do i transfer pictures to my pc?

Before you connect a device, like a camera to the computer, you have to install the software that came with the camera. Then connect the camera and switch it on. The computer needs a driver, as well as a program to transfer the pictures. If you lost the software, goto the brand site, and click on support. Most firms deliver the software for free, because it only works with cameras of their own brand.
There are universal programs like from Adobe, you also can use to download and edit picture, but you have to pay for these.

How to edit my picture??.

You have to transfer your video material to your computer. There you can edit with a software editing program like Magix etc. You can download those programs for free (for a limited time).

If your transferring the video via USB then with Sony Cams you will need to download the drivers and install them (the sony website or google with normally have them)... then restart you computer and attempt to capture again using WMM.

PP seems corrupt, try reinstalling it and/or look at troubleshooting. if still f**ked then try rolling back your drivers to your camcorder and reinstalling them with a clean package.

- if you need details with rolling back drivers, google it.

Hello. I lost my codec "install" CD for my Vivitar ViviCam DVR-565 Hard Drive Camcorder camera. How can I get the driver "codecs" now? Cannot find them "online". I need them desperately - in...

Transfer media from my camera to my computer manually (Using Windows)
1. Use the USB cable that came with your camera to connect your camera to your computer.
2. MSDC appears on the LCD.
3. A window appears with a list of options, select "Open folder to view files" and click OK.
4. Open the DCIM folder and the folder inside to view the media files.
5. Select the media and copy the files from this folder into your computer. Optionally, select the files and choose Copy from the Edit menu. Then select a folder and choose Paste from the Edit menu.
6. We recommend that you copy the images into the Pictures/My Pictures folder and the videos into the Videos/My Videos folder.
7. Do not disconnect the cable during transfer. Doing so will cancel the transfer of any files on their way to your computer.

This camera does not need specific drivers from Vivitar (driver=instructions for hardward like a camera)
If you miss the old program you can probably download from the vivitar site their "Vivitar Experience Image Manager". If you're having a problem with codecs (the information your computer needs to decode video formats so you can watch them) you can get all the latest codecs by going to google and typing in "download matroska pack" and download the matroska codec pack.

Sony HC90 and Picture Package software

Ask "What is this Picture Package software?" And what does it do? Here's the gimme that you don't move video with this product: " Is Picture Package compatible with USB2.0? It is only compatible with USB1.1 not 2.0." From the Sony site. Look to other software and move to a Firewire connection.
