Problem for Kodak Digital Cameras
Generic problem for all Kodak Digital Cameras

Camera turns on, but lens won't open.

I can turn the camera on and I hear the sound that the lens door used to make, but the lens does not open. I can manually gently open it, but even then the screen is a solid bluish color. In other words, even when I open the lens door, I don't think the camera is seeing anything. Is there any hope?
