The most probable cause would be a problem with one of the door switches. When it is not working shake the door up and down and hit "start" again. If that made it work, you would need to test the switches for proper operation.

Your megeton went out on you. You need to replace it for it to work. It will cost around 150 to fix

There would not be a reset button, but a hard reset can be done by unplugging it for a minute or so, then plugging it back in.

If that doesn't work, chances are you have a fuse blown in the microwave.

It's usually behind the grille, which is held in place by two screws.
