My Ricoh R1V Caplio camera was working fine about a month back. Since then I have been unable to shoot any decent pix. The images I shoot in daylight are too bright and have fine horizontal lines that are visible.

I have:
1. Reformatted the internal memory
2. formatted the memory card
3. Cleaned the lens with a soft wet cloth

The cam has been passed through the X-ray machine at few global airports, as I travel frequently. Could this be the reason for the malfunction?

How can I repair my camera (if possible) ?

Thanks
I have the same problem.

While my camera still produces photos of the same light intensity, since yesterday it now has bold lines horizontally across the entire image.
