Question about Lexmark X1195 All-In-One InkJet Printer
When I scan a page, I get one, and sometimes two, 1/2" wide black bars
across the page. These then, of course, print out the same.
Doesn't happen when printing only.
SOURCE: Won't scan full page
In the control panel for the scanner, on the bottom left is a button labeled "Specify," where you can adjust how much of the page it scans. Sometimes it is "auto-detect," sometimes it is the size of a small photo, sometimes it is full page. You just have to set it to what you want. Usually auto-detect works, but sometimes it misses and only scans part of a full page, so you have to set it manually to full page.

SOURCE: Black line during scanning
Clean the scanner bed with the clean cloth and try to make a copy if it stills as a black line, if your printer is within one year warranty please get it replaced by the company and use this link:
