These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience. If blinks continues without any pause, the main board is faulty.

SOURCE: sony kv-32fs10 won't turn on...stand by light blinks continuously

If you have sound when this is happening, this can be an indication that the picture tube is starting to fail. Try the following:

1) Carefully remove the back of the set.
2) Locate the flyback transformer (part with large red wire coming out the top.
3) There should be 2 controls on the back side of the flyback, one marked screen adn the other focus.
4) With the set plugged in and on, try turning the SCREEN control slightly clockwise.

If the picture pops on, then the tube itself is starting to fail and you have sometime to find a replacement.

PLEASE NOTE: There are potentially dangerous high voltages inside te set even when unplugged. DO NOT touch the red wire or the side of the picture tube itself.

Let us know your progress.

Thanks,
Dan

Thomson CTV having continue blinking stdby

Fault with main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any.

Smps on but display not showing

A) Check the monitor cable on a KNOWN to be working computer,
Or.
Use the monitor cable from the working computer on yours.

Monitor cable does not remove?
Use the monitor, AND monitor cable; on a KNOWN to be working computer.

B) SMPS may have a weak voltage power rail

[There are 3;
A) 3.3 Volts
B) 5 Volts
C) 12 Volts
ALL are DC Voltage.
In comparison two D cell flashlight batteries produce 3 Volts DC ]

1) If ALL of the LED lights were on at once, they would use less than 1 Watt of power.

2) EACH fan uses 2 to 3 Watts of power.

3) A typical Processor (CPU) can use 51 to 125 Watts of power.
Just depends on what Processor it is.

This is why you may see LED's light, and maybe fans spin, but NOT enough power to turn the Processor on.

Use a multimeter set to DC Voltage, and check the 3 power rails.

ALL Orange wires you see are 3.3 Volts
ALL Red wires are 5 Volts
ALL Yellow wires are 12 Volts
ALL Black wires are Ground wires

OR,
Use a KNOWN to be good, Compatible power supply; for a temporary test unit.

Also, FOLLOW Anti-Static Procedures, with your unplugged from power computer.
DO NOT reach inside your computer if you are not.
Do not know what Anti-Static Procedures are?

PLUS, remove the Ram Memory modules ('Stick'), and reinstall them. One of them may be bumped loose.

NO. You cannot see it by eye alone. Remove, and reinstall.
This way you are ASSURED they/it, are installed tightly, and correctly.

MD2614U will not turn on. red light blinks three times

The first thing to do is check that the charger is putting out the correct voltage, which should be ~19 volt. Then try to start it without the battery. If your voltage is OK and the battery out makes no difference, then I would suspect that you have a motherboard problem that must be fixed. If the computer starts up if you wiggle the DC plug where it goes into the computer, then it's the DC jack that is looks and must be re-soldered.

The dead laptop charger may be another cause. Try a new and correct one:

Intocircuit Gateway MD2614u AC Adapter 65Watt 19V 3.42A

Without a remote control, you can't change this option. Just buy one universal remote control, which have setup codes for Thomson Brand.
