Problem for Bose Lifestyle 28 System

My bose will randomly change modes and volume

I have a lifestyle 20 (for about 5yrs now) and recently it started changing modes (tv, aux, tuner) by itself and sometimes even the volume will change on it's own. It hasn't been damaged in anyway. I have no idea what to do, turned the power off several times hoping it would reset but no luck.
