Programming for Arrow Keys on Universal Rem...

Have a Samsung HD870 DVD player and old Millenium 4 universal remote. Successfully linked remote to dvd with a code. However the arrow keys do not function, only the rewind, fastforward, play, stop etc keys work. I am doing this because I lost the original Samsung remote that came with the DVD and need to be able to move around the screen as its annoying to skip through files and DVD chapters.
