i accidently bump the power cord while my children were playing their xbox 360. of course they got mad and said they had to start their game over again. but when they went to plug turn the xbox on it wouldn't turn on at all. even tried it another socket. i tried my brother xbox cord to see mayube it wasn't the cord it wasn't.

you must have disconnected the power connection from the motherboard
