We've just had a thunder storm and my BT3510 phone says check the line the line is OK as is the internal connections ??????

during thunder storm, is your TV connected to wall outlet, if it so your set have a problem on power supply, you are lucky if is only a blown fuse.

no they dont, you can check continuity down to the board and also look on the board for any blackening caused by shorting iut

Try these..1...remove your telephone line from base unit and fix it into a working land phone and check whether is it having normal dial tone.If it's having engage tone(beep beep...)remove paralleled phones and re connect to cordless base unit.
2.If line is ok (normal dial tone with full volume) & still display indicates line is busy, your main base unit must be having faulty components inside.Commonly these defects happen in thundering or surges through telephone lines.You have to take full set to a repair shop.

One of reasons your tv not working, the thunder storm /lighting possibility has burnt your Tv micro processor. get a technician to check the power supply section too because during the thunder storm your TV circuitry received excessive voltage .
If is the main processor is burnt you have to change it for the TV to work .

First check your power outlet, try connecting the TV to a different power outlet. Then see whether the LED light on the TV is on or blinking. Anyhow, this might need attention by a qualified service technician.

call you internet provider to get the modem replaced. Usually it's the Ethernet port on the modem that has been damaged from the storm.

Check the impedence of the connected speakers. if any impedence mismatch is there, the amp will sense it and will cuto the output OFF. Use only specified speakers only. The impedence of speakres are expressed in "Ohms". Select all speakers of same impedence. If 6 Ohms is the output impedence of the amp, use only that Ohms speaker. Never use a speaker less that this Ohms. You can use a higher impedence speaker, say 8 Ohs or 16Ohms. But never use lower impedence speakers, of connect two speakers in parellel connection, which will relult in overloading. I think that I've made a satisfactory solution to you. sounds like the power supply is the problem, it could be as simple as a fuse.

If your speakers are not in good condition you may have floated the cones inducing DC feedback into the amplifier, Im not sure if this amp has internal protection fuses, but I would check them and if so replace with same specification fuses. Sometimes we get lucky... Good luck

u can do one thing like changing the soft ware on the device and reboot it and check
