1. I don't think this unit has a remote. Denon's website does not list one as coming with the unit and there is no IR receiver sensor on the front of the unit.

The only safe way to do this us to connect the sub to one of the other speaker outputs using a "speaker selector" switch. For example, you would go out of the receivers left speaker output, into the selector switch then out of the selector switch into the sub and the left speaker. There really is no other way.

Denon PMA 250SE does not have a RIAA phono preamp.
