Loud popping noise and spark coming from red projector

My TV started making a loud popping noise. The noise is coming from somewhere inside the red projector. TV is still working fine but something is definately wrong since the loud popping noise comes and goes. Please Help!

I would guess you have a High Voltage Leak at the Anode Lead Cap where it Mounts to the CRT. This is not a area to mess with You are better off calling a professional to fix it. It may be a little difficult to confirm if it is a intermittent problem.
