if you installed new developer unit you have to initialize it or else there wont be any or enough toner in the developer so its going to always add toner or print light or blank copies

I think driver uninstalled and restart printer and computer. Some time wait and reinstalled printer driver and proper way connect printer cable. then printer cartridge level check and reinstalled again. I hope solved your issues. The NP 4050 has been known for given blank copies... Is the developing unit locked in place... There is a Grey or blue lever inside the front door to the right... It is under the toner hopper. It's been along time... I believe the lever should be clicked to the right and up. Also there is a locking screw that holds it in place, Most times that screw is missing and the unit falls away from the drum unit and you get blank copies and the front door will close.. Good Luck
Was the copier working fine before you changed the cartridge? If so I think your cartridge is the problem. If it started making blank copies right after you changed it. If this is not the case the first thing I would say is it is not the drum. Try opening and closing the right side door. There are contacts in the door that will cause blank copies. I have had several customers do this and it fixed the problem. You can also try pulling out the toner and then pull the drum unit partially out and re-seat it. Then re-install the toner.

see the cartridge do is good installed. Remove the cartridge and putt it again. If the problem do not go away please try with other cartridge. Or if the printer is ink-jet printer and you have not used it for some time than the ink can be stuck
if you have your receipt or bank statement and bought it from Tesco, then give the helpline a call on 0845456676 and they will issue a otm (over twelve month) form, this will allow you to hopefully claim back either partial exchange or partial refund
try also to change or to service the corona units both the upper corona in the drum unit and the the transfer corona assembly unit down the drum. ok try your best.
