SOURCE: cant delete account

If it's signed in on your phone, then type in the following address in the browser's address bar of your phone https://ssl.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account, once it's opened, select "Submit" and confirm if you get any alert message. Your account will be permanently deleted.

Notice that once done is done, you will not be able to recover it, never will be.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I an old Facebook account/page my visitors are sent to I can't edit the photo of me or any information on it. It has a link to my new page. Can I just get rid of it and keep the new one?

You can deactivate that account.

  1. Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click General in the left column.
  4. Choose Manage your account and then scroll down to click Deactivate your account.
But if you linked your personal account with the page. you must change the administration power to any other personal facebook account first. like your page from that account. then transfer the admin role to that personal account and delete your old account.

How do I get my old facebook account back?

For one thing, you do not open a Facebook profile for a business, you open a Facebook business page, if you insist on doing it, you should have used a different number and email address, that's Facebook 101.

I would suggest you log out of your new account, do a search for the old account, log into that one and change both the phone number and the email

Since Facebook only allows one profile per person, I would suggest you change both asap before FB randomly decides to eliminate one of the profiles

Facebook help page

Hi Bonnie,
Facebook loves to add pages but not to delete them. There is a way of joining them together I believe, but the easiest method ois to delete all the contents of one and put on a notice to and url of your new page so that people can transfer across. You will still get peo;ple trying to post on your old page for a while.

I have an old fb page and a new one and i cannot get on the new one anymore. my old one keeps coming up and i would like to delete my old one and dont know how too. i use my mobile phone.

Regardless of whether or not you're on a phone, you need to either use a different browser (not as easy on a phone), or delete your browser history and cache before trying to login. If you have save my info or remember me selected, the system may keep logging you in under that information if you're set to login automatically on your phone. So, just use the appropriate login info, and you'll get into the chosen account.

To delete your account, just sign in, go to account settings, and delete the account. You may want to download personal information first, though-- such as pictures, etc.

Somebody stole my password and my email address, they change everything on my facebook . I can't access my own facebook page. I had to get a new email address and make a new facebook page. How can I delete...

report them to the face book security, tell them what happened they will delte that account and possibly prosicute that person who is using your facebook page. if they got your facebook passwork you have to ask yourself how they did that, if they have that password, they may have others, I would change all my passwords right away, if it were me.
