How do I download DLNA software for my DVD player?

Samsung has many of their product manuals on the product support page. For the BD-F5700, see http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/BD-F5700/ZA. On this site, scroll down to the Manuals and Downloads section. The link to the Manual is on the left hand side of the page. The Download button links to Samsung's liability statement. You will need to click Continue to obtain the manual as a PDF. I think the direct link is http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201306/20130614144240234/02285U-BD-F5700-ZA-ENG-0614_BM.pdf . However, this may not work due to that liability statement.

Did you go to the set up wireless connection on the menu for the Blue ray player or did you expect it to connect to your Wi-Fi home network automatically ?

Using the Safari Internet Browser, go to the web page link given below fro which you can select your product right down to the precise model number. This will gve a short list of options, one of which is manuals and this gives you the user manual and a button for downloading a pdf format user manual.

If you don't have Acrobat Reader on your Mac you will need to download this (its free) and install it before you can read the manual Samsung

1. Connect the BD-F5700 to your wireless home network.
2. Open your Windows Media Player application on your desktop. Select the ' Stream' tab and from the dropdown list select the "Automatically allow devices to play my media" option. Follow the instructions. Please note that this works with Windows 7, not sure about earlier or later versions.

First, try resetting your player. Unplug it from wall for at least 1 full minute, then plug it back in. If eject function (remote or top panel) still doesn't work:

MOST DVD players (including every one I have ever worked on or owned) have a tiny manual eject pinhole located close to the tray. You may have to gently open the flip door to see it. It is usually to the right of the disc slot, but could be underneath or elsewhere close by (use a flashlight, it can be hard to see). Carefully insert a straightened paper clip in the pinhole to eject the disc. (It shouldn't matter if machine is on, but for safety I usually do this with the machine OFF and unplugged).

If above fails, your only recourse is likely the disassembly of the machine (search "dvd disc stuck" on Google or YouTube), or taking your machine to a repair person. Best of luck to you.

Howver, the F5700 is "officially" only a Region 1 player. If you bought it from an odd seller that advertised it otherwise, they either lied to you or have attempted to hack the player themselves (possibly illegally).

SOME manufacturers allow a ONE-time region change (legally).
