My chain saw runs good for about 20-25 minutes then shuts off have to wait for about 30 minutes to cool down n then starts right back up for another 20-25 minutes

check the spark plug
change the seals with new ones
check compression

Find out where is its airating sistem.It equalises the presure between the interior and exterior of the gas tank.Disassembly and clean it.

I just had this problem. It is possible that your chain drive teeth have jumped off the drive sprocket. There is a guide for the chain to follow and is decievingly difficult to verify that the teeth are in the drive sprocket. Turn the saw upside down, and look at the clutch. Check the chain to see if the chain is actually on the sprocket and not beside it. It looks right, but it's not.

sound like the ignition coil is bad.......they have had some issues with them.are you taking the saw to a husquvarna dealer or just taking it back to lowes.some times they don't send them to a husquvarna dealer....

two things could be happening.......first is vapor lock......make sure you breather tube is clear and working........next is ....it could have a bad ignition coil on it.....after the coil gets hot the spark can become irratic or just not work any more.....
