Make sure the fan inside the freezer is running. If so, remove the cover from the back of inside of the freezer. If it is clogged with frost you have a defrost circuit problem. Most likely the defrost heater mounted at the bottom of the evaporator coil is burned out.
Post back with any questions and let me know what you find.
Thanks/Mike

Need you to unplug and lets have a look inside the rear panel in freezer at the evaporator. That is the sign that defrost has stopped. If covered with ice defrost with a hair dryer. Look near bottom there is a defrost heater. Look to see if burned out if glass tube with heater coil inside. Then let me now. If so you will need to change the defrost heater a defrost thermostat. Let me know what you find, Sea Breeze.

With the PSS26MRSS model the mother control board is suspect in that happening. Unplug and pull away from the wall and remove the cover over a panel that has the board inside. Look at both sides of the board for burn marks. Let me know what you find and if you find the board looks OK then we need to look at the compressor relay and start relay. Thanks, Sea Breeze

check and make sure the damper vent door is opening fully between the refrige and freezer compartments so as to let cold air from freezer into the refrige

Its defrost problem, the freezer should cool,
then freeze, then defrost cycle should start. In your case freezer is cooling,
then freezing, but its not defrosting. That's why fridge section is not
cooling.-------
