Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-36XBR800 36" TV
When I turn the TV on, I can hear sound for 1 – 2 seconds and then there is no sound and no picture. The screen indicates “no signal”. Again, when I switch channels I get sound for 1 - 2 seconds but no picture.
When I go to “twin View” I can see the 2nd channel but the initial channel still indicated "no signal".
The DVD and VCR still work through the TV.
This may be the tuner or IF module that is failing. It may also be a voltage supply fault to these modules. It is impossible to accurately speculate without actualy troubleshooting the set.
