the monitor causes static on phones and radio. i goes away when we shut off monitor.

- with the monitor on, we can not listen to the AM radio stations because of the static. it also causes static on the phones. when the monitor is shut off, all the static goes away, the redio and phones are clear of static. is there something wrong with the cord or monitor?Clarification Request
