The red caps just snap on over top of the locking washers, the washers can be installed with a small socket just tap the socket with a hammer and then you can just snap the red caps on

Testimonial: "This wagon is over 25 years old and I refreshed it. Are the old locking washers still reusable?"

Warn hubs, installation

Warn Hubs Installation
A truck or SUV with a four-wheel drive suspension uses locking hubs on the front wheels to engage or disengage the front axle shafts from the hubs. This way, you can drive the truck normally with just rear-wheel drive, or engage four-wheel drive mode when you want to drive off-road. These hubs can wear out, and one improvement is to install a set of Warn hubs. Installing a set of Warn hubs takes about an hour.
1.Park the truck and put on the parking brake. Lift the front of the truck with the jack and put the jack stands under the front axle. Take off the front wheels with the tire iron and put them to the side.
2.Disengage the locking hubs using your hands by turning the knob on the hubs. Remove the snap rings holding the hub locks in place with the snap-ring pliers. Pull the hub off the axle.
3.Install the lock ring wheel from the Warn hub kit in the axle with the factory snap ring and the snap-ring pliers.
4.Make sure the Warn locking cap dial is turned to the "Free' position. Install the locking cap onto the lock ring wheel and hub body with a hex-head key. Reinstall the front wheels with the tire iron and lower the vehicle off the jack stands with the jack.

Where can I find a replacement handle for my Radio Flyer Classic Red Wagon? The number on the side is 89.

Radio Flyer has an excellent grass roots website and customer support team. Find them on the web, give them a call and they'll either get you a direct replacement or something that will work for your wagon. I had a problem with one of the wheels of our wagon which was discontinued. They sent a full set of replacement wheels; free. This is a great company. Just give them a call.

How do you remove front wheel bearing

is this front wheel? rear wheel? or 4 wheel drive? if you have front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive you will need to take the tire off and get the center cap off with cotter pin on most vehicles. then put the tire back on without its center cap. then put the vehicle back on the ground. then use required socket with an extention and breaker bar to put through the rim to loosen center hub bolt about a quarter turn. just enough to break it loose. then take the tire back off to finish the job. remove the brake caliper and rotor then center nut on hub bearing. there should be 3 bolts from the inside holding hub bearing on. on rear wheel only you won't need to take the tire off and on.

Wagon wheel/ 10'' pheumatic

The "pressure caps" have most likely created a burr on the shaft which you will need to either sand or file down smooth before it will slide off easily. Try rubbing your thumb and forefinger around the shaft and you can most likely find a rough spot. Slide the wheel as far back out of the way as you can get it and take a very fine file or better still some emery cloth to get it smooth.

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe red plastic wheel caps

The caps are a type of "acorn nut". Check a local hardware store (not the big guys) for this type of fastener and bring the shaft with you to get the correct size. These should not cost more than about $.50 each.

Need to replace wheels on sons power wheels kawasaki brute force fisher price car. i have the wheels but have no idea how to remove old ones and put new ones on. thanks

I just replaced the wheels on the red Fisher Price Kawasaki Brute Force. First use a screw driver to pop off the grey middle nut cover. Then pull of the locking nut with black cap that is under the grey cover you just removed.

Once that is removed the wheel comes right off. There are 4 phillips screws holding the hubs together. Unscrew those and the hubs separate into to pieces (one on each side of the wheel).
Simply place the hubs into the replacement wheels and screw back together. Slide the new wheel on (make sure the washer is still on the rear side of axel).

My replacement wheels actually came with the black replacement locking nuts taped to them. Hammer the replacement locking back on the alex, pop the grey hub cover back on and you are done.

If you are missing the locking nuts, take one of the originals you removed with you to the hardware store and you should have no problem getting them. - MTRAGE
