Problem for Nokia N72 Cellular Phone

I have a NOKIA N-72 cell phone and its phone

i have a NOKIA N-72 cell phone and its phone memory is full it was showing 19MB memory in use and no free space available.. i started deleting msgs from it.. i selected some around 175 msgs to delete at a single time and it couldnt perform the operation.. since then i am not able to use my messaging services.. then i changed the SIM and again started the phone 2 msgs got deleted..again i selected certain msgs but the operation was again unable to perform.. and after that am not able to acess my phone.. not even the menu button..
plz give me a solution...

- but will it delete all the contacts and msgs saved in my cell.?? is there anything through which i can save my msgs atleast??

formate your cellphone once..through the step shown below


1. Switch off the phone.
2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (call answer button, * button, and ‘3′ button.
3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
4. When the message ‘Formatting’ appears on the screen, release all of the buttons.

- well you can save you messeges into your computer by USB cable and every data.. before you do that do not forget to make sure that all contact are in sim not in mobile..Thank you

i use USB nokia data cable to conect my N72 with desctop pc.
but the pc can not detect it.so, what shal i do?
