Bios update failed *flash*

I recently updated my Phoenix-Award Bios and it failed during the process. My pc is Acer Aspire t180. I downloaded the update from Acer official website. Now i get this error during boot ''verifying DMI Pool Data..'' and just hangs there. What should i do. ALSO, when i try to boot the computer from CD/DVD, to install fresh windows, it does not work, it just goes back to the error screen. Basically, can't boot from CD/DVD.Please help...

- LuckyJackson, no i didn't back up my bios working data. I am new to this. But how do i reflash if the CD/DVD drive doesn't work?Solution #1

You are in deep trouble
A problem with refreshing the Bios is that you can corrupt the old one and then the new one does not load leaving you stuck in limbo land
I would contact Acer support and hope that they offer a pre-programmed Bios chip to replace your corrupt one.

Did you make copy of your original bios before flashing...if yes then reflash with your original.
If No then trying reflashing again making sure no power cuts, dont touch computer until flashing is complete.
